Monthly HOA Board of Directors meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, unless it is a holiday, at 7:30pm at the Enterprise Museum, 360 Main St, Enterprise, FL 32725. All residents are welcome to attend.
Stone Island’s HOA has many responsibilities and functions. Check out the committee titles below to get an idea of some of their services:
ADMINISTRATION and AUDIT – oversees the administration and bookkeeping duties of the HOA
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD (ARB) –reviews and approves construction or remodeling activities on the island in accordance with HOA rules
CANALS & WATERWAYS – maintains canals and waterways
ELECTIONS – oversees yearly election of a board of directors and seeks involvement by residents
HOSPITALITY – greets new residents on behalf of the Stone Island Hospitality Committee
LEGAL – handles legal issues if they arise
MEMBERSHIP – encourages prompt payment of dues, as well as membership by exempt owners.
PARKS & MOWING – keeps the grassy areas clean and trim for island events and your enjoyment
POLITICAL AFFAIRS – interfaces with government officials
ROADS & SWALES – maintains roads, park areas, dock area, and keeps drainage flowing
SAFETY – coordinates volunteer security patrols and camera access with law enforcement
SPORTS & RECREATION – oversees the stables and tennis/pickleball courts
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT – oversees the physical amenities and proposes new improvement ideas
